We beginnen deze week in een heerlijk mellow jazzy mood dankzij de toevallige ontdekking van Michael Franks ‘The Art of Tea’ album. Hij krijgt de geweldige hulp van Terry Gallier, Syl Johnson, Ann Peebles en Fred Williams maar ook van The Politicians en The James Hunter Six en daarmee schuiven we al snel in een funky vibe waar ook Sly Johnson, Gil-Scott Heron, Bill Winters en Eddie Hendricks een prima plekje vinden. In het tweede uur proberen we Quincy Jones, Radmila Karaklajić, A Certain Ratio en Tom Tom Club te verzoenen met Roxy Music, Curtis Mayfield, Asha Puthli, The Electric Prunes, Peter Sjardin en The Natural Yogurt Band. Afsluiten doen we met wat Italiaanse film- en library music en disco. Voor elk wat wils dus in deze mix, geniet er met volle teugen van!
